Why this page looks different
Most cabinetry review pages are marketing. This one is not.
It is easy to fill a page with five-star quotes and a large review count. It is much harder to verify any of it, and for a homeowner comparing cabinetry companies, unverifiable praise is close to useless. We would rather use this space to be straightforward: if you have worked with us, tell us how it went, and if you are considering working with us, here is how to pressure-test any company in this trade — including this one.
Cabinetry projects go wrong in predictable ways. Measurements are taken casually and a filler strip ends up three inches wide. A lead time is quoted optimistically and the kitchen sits unusable for an extra month. A quote omits removal and disposal, and the number changes after demolition. The questions below exist because those are the failure points, not because they make anyone look good.
Before You Hire
Six questions worth asking any cabinet company
Ask these of us and of every other company you are considering, and compare the answers.
Was the kitchen measured in person?
A cabinetry plan built from a homeowner's rough sketch is a guess. Field measurements catch out-of-square walls, sloped floors and soffits that change the cabinet layout.
Is the quote itemized by cabinet and by scope?
A single lump sum makes it impossible to compare bids or to see what gets cut if the budget tightens. An itemized list shows box construction, door style, hardware and labor separately.
What is the cabinet box actually made of?
Plywood, particleboard and MDF behave differently over time, particularly in South Florida humidity. Any company should answer this directly and in writing.
How are change orders handled?
Mid-project changes happen. What matters is whether they are documented and priced before the work proceeds rather than appearing on a final invoice.
Who installs the cabinetry?
Ask who is physically in your home, how long installation is expected to take, and what happens if a cabinet arrives damaged or a door is misaligned.
What is the lead time, and what drives it?
Stock, semi-custom and custom cabinetry have very different manufacturing timelines. A realistic lead time given upfront is a better sign than an optimistic one.
